The Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj informed today that he has made the decision to proclaim the Russian national arrested during the police action in the north and who was serving at UNMIK mission, persona-non grata with the request of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
However, it appears that there is a disagreement in this process as the adviser of the Foreign Minister Jetlir Zyberaj reacted saying that the Minister for Foreign Affairs Behgjet Pacolli has made the decision to proclaim the Russian Mikhail Krasnoshchenkov persona non-grata yesterday.
“The Ministry for Foreign Affairs has proclaimed yesterday the UNMIK official with Russian citizenship as persona non-grata. This came after the hesitation of UNMIK to remove immunity of the official and cooperate with judicial authorities. At the same time, a day earlier, due to her racist statements, the Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic was forbidden forever to enter Kosovo. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs will not hesitate to undertake such measures at any moment when national interests of Kosovo are concerned,” Zyberaj wrote on his Facebook account.
