Albanian President Ilir Meta said today that Kosovo’s parliamentary elections on Sunday were an excellent example of a functioning democracy. “Congratulations to the citizens of Kosovo and the political class for showing the whole world that the state of Kosovo is not only fully functional but also an example of a growing democracy … ,” Meta wrote on a Facebook post.
