BELGRADE – The Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) urged on Monday the relevant bodies to react immediately to the incident that took place in the village of Grabac in the municipality of Klina in which 12 Serb houses were left without water because a pump had been stolen.

“We are calling on the international community not to be just a silent observer of this kind of terror and torture against the Serb population that keeps repeating, but rather to take all necessary measures so as to find and bring to justice perpetrators of this and all other misdeeds, and ensure that Serbs and all citizens in Kosovo-Metohija get the right to a safe and decent life,” the release reads.

The Office voices concern over the incident, noting that this is the eighth time in a row that the pump has been stolen in this village and that there is now no water for people or their households.

Serb returnees in the village of Grabac in the municipality of Klina in Metohija were again left without water after thieves stole the pump, used by 12 Serb families, for the eighth time in a row.
