After criticizing the municipalities for spending thousands of Euros on “ugly decorated trees,” this daily’s front page editorial, says “sometimes we are forgetting that we are living in a democratic country, where human rights and freedoms are guaranteed and that we are all equal in front of the law.” Further the editorial says that the chapter can be closed by mentioning successes, only if we want to please ourselves. 19 April agreement, SAA, visa liberalization, motorway, airport, PTK, have not changed the lives of Kosovo citizens, salaries did not increase while prices did.  “Heralds of the government cannot deceive us any more.Corruption has deepened, justice is only a word, scandals in health and education appear every day, culture and sports suffer from some mediocre officials.

Listening to some ministers expressing concern for the reserved seats, one gets the impression that everything else is in order. “Enough with propaganda, and deception, laziness and theft, abuse and missuses of public funds. Population cannot stand this any more. Smaller municipal patriarchies went down, and brought the news of hope, change, big turn. It is the turn of the big patriarchy now. Citizens showed to government and rulers that the public duty is not a private property, but a legal and national obligation, a noble mission in interest of all citizens without exception. Therefore, there is no doubt that congratulations for the New Year go to them. Happy New Year,” concludes this daily.
