Enver Robelli wonders in his editorial today why after each political accusation, some politicians and political parties in Kosovo react using slander. The answer is obvious he says, because deep down inside, they know that critics are right. Instead of facing the presented arguments, party brigades blot people and deal with their last names, as in the recent case of primitive accusations against Donika Gërvalla, after she made public accusations on the address of AAK leader, Ramush Haradinaj.

Robelli says that organized groups, party militants, mainly from AAK, started an unseen campaign of blotting and monstrous slander against her. “In order to see how lunatic a society can be, you only have to look at the level of the comments in online portals,” he says. “Why did these party militants remain silent during the last ten years when German media revealed details from a German Intelligence Service (BND) report, which describe Ramush Haradinaj as “the key player” on connections between politics, economy and structures of organized crime in Kosovo?” Or why did the same ones remain silent in 2008, when German daily Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung brought details of a study on organized crime in Kosovo, which once again mentions Haradinaj as the key player. Robelli further mentions other accusations of local politicians on the address of AAK leader, adding that instead of facing concrete accusations, this party sent Melihate Termkolli to give an interview for KTV, bringing only a scary example of low political propaganda. After mentioning details which hold Termkolli responsible for abuse of public funds, Robelli says that Kosovo needs many public figures like Donika Gërvalla, who gave enormous contribution for the freedom of Kosovo, without requesting any reward. The number of politicians who feel free to express what concerns them, who do not make dirty political compromises, and who have Kosovo in their heart, like Donika Gërvalla, is small. Robelli says that her contribution and political activities are documented by German media.
