“With negotiations in Brussels, we entered into a process of integration that carries risks, because the institutions of Serbia are withdrawing from Kosovo,” said Rada Trajkovic. According to her, this is shown in the best way by the agreement on Police, by which Serbian police officers lost their jobs and existence.

Member of United Serbian List in the parliament of Kosovo, Rada Trakovic, as a guest of the TV Center program “Dogovor” said that the Serbian government entered the process of the Brussels negotiations hastily and did not find adequate answers. According to her, this is a particularly difficult period for the survival of the Serbian people in Kosovo. “Now, Serbian municipalities that still work with a large number of employees will be dismantled. None of us knows what will happen to these people, what will happen with their income. We are facing a particularly difficult time, as a nation. We would all like that Serbia remain present and that number of Serbs living in this region remains the same.”

When asked if Community of Serbian Municipalities can keep Serbs in Kosovo Trajkovic said, that we would have an answer to the question if Community was formed, have a statute, if we would know what its responsibilities are, financial capacity, as well if it would be able to employ all those people who have had existence and job.

Turnout in elections for Mitrovica North municipality, according to Rada Trajkovic, will be small, because still there are no candidates. An additional problem is that, as she said, no one mentions elections in the north and no one motivates people.

Commenting on writings of Pristina based newspaper Zeri that Krsimir Pantic could again be a candidate if he meets some of requirements, Rada Trajkovic said that person who would candidate Pantić would show as frivolous.” Some time ago, he stopped the process of Serbs in this area and I think that would be just irresponsible, because it actually says about instability of Pantic as a man who has no courage to take over the responsibility.”

Trakovic believes that the head of CI ‘SDP’ Oliver Ivanovic, is a very good candidate and that he would be a good mayor. However, she does not believe that in the upcoming election Ivanovic will be supported by Aleksandar Vucic.
