The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK,) is deeply shaken after the news for the serious crime of murder of another student at the facilities of “Arkitekt Sinani,” school in Mitrovica.
AAK requests immediate moral, institutional and political responsibility of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Bajram Rexhepi and the Minister of Education, Ramë Buja, who never set security at schools as priority, despite the continuous requests from the AAK Department for the Rule of Law, during the last three years.
The civil society and different local and international organizations, continuously made the same request.
Today’s tragedy is the first and it should remain the last. Are Ministers Rexhepi and Buja waiting for a catastrophe to happen in order to resign?
AAK and its leader, Ramush Haradinaj express deep regret for the loss of the life of the student today in Mitrovica and express their deepest condolences to his family.
