Four Serbian MPs in the Kosovo assembly have left the caucus “Joint Future’ formed by the Minister for Labor and Social Welfare Nenad Rasic.

Following the resignation of Vesna Mikic, Sasa Djokic, Vesimir Savic and Vojislav Stojanovic from the caucus, there are only three MPs left in the caucus.

Vesna Mikic said to KIM radio that she left ‘Joint Future’ because the caucus didn’t function as was agreed at the beginning. “We left the caucus because we didn’t act jointly, everyone acted on his own way. That is the most important reason why we left the caucus,” said Mikic.

On question whether the new caucus in the Kosovo assembly could be under Belgrade’s influence, Mikic answered that the caucus, if created, will function in cooperation with Belgrade and Prisitna, but will not be under the influence of Belgrade.

“We are independent MPs, our mandates are in our hands, thus we will make decision on our own in the Kosovo assembly, in the interest of Serbian community of course, what was not the case so far,” concluded Mikic and added that public will be informed in case that new caucus is created.
