Letter to Obama for acceptance of Kosovo in partnership for peace in NATO (RTKlive)

40 American Congressman have sent a letter to American President, Barrack Obama, through Secretary of State, John Kerry, in which they call on USA to enable for Kosovo acceptance in Partnership for Peace in NATO, cites RTK Radio news portal Gazeta Express.

The letter has been written from 40 Congressman and which starts with the explanation of Congressman Elliot Engel and says:

„While we are approaching to the NATO summit for 2014, it is important that United States of America to support aspirations of countries who want to integrate in the Alliance. In particular and also as a letter authorized from Republican Turnet and about this myself and almost 40 of my colleagues have signed that United States of America should offer support for Macedonia and Montenegro for NATO membership in this year’s summit, to encourage the progress in the implementation of the Action Plan for the membership for Bosnia and Herzegovina and to advocate the same for Georgia. Also in this letter I have called United States of America to work with NATO in order to ensure that for Kosovo to be offered a place in the Partnership for Peace program, in which all neighboring countries have been accepted, this way to ensure a full membership in the Alliance.”
