The Foreign Minister of Cyprus, Ioannis Kasoulides, considers that Serbia will not be obliged to recognize Kosovo by the end of the discussions with the EU, since this was not done by the five EU countries yet. “As thing stand currently, Serbia will not be obliged to recognize the independence of Kosovo, since, as you know, the EU decisions are made by consensus. There are five more EU member countries that do not recognize the current status of Kosovo,” said Kasoulides for Tanjug.
