The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, stated today that the announcement for creation of Kosovo’s Armed Forces is not part of the Brussels Agreement.
“They made these announcements earlier, but Serbia has requested guarantees from NATO and KFOR that if this army is created, then it cannot be in the north of Kosovo without the permission of KFOR,” said Dacic in Belgrade. Serbian media inform that he expressed hope that if required, NATO and KFOR guarantees will be implemented in practice.

Kosovo Government has decided today to transform Kosovo Security Forces into Kosovo Armed Forces.
