Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, presented during his visit to Berlin, five steps which would enable complete and long term normalization of the relations between Kosovo and Serbia. According to him, the starting point if the normalization stands on Serbia’s implementation of all the agreements reached in the dialogue with Kosovo. Speaking about the second step, Hoxhaj stressed that “Serbia should dissolve all illegal, parallel structures in the Republic of Kosovo. The third one stands on allowing integration of Serb community in the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.” He stressed that the fourth point is for Serbia not to block Kosovo’s membership at different EU organizations and at the UN. “Finally, the mutual recognition of Kosovo and Serbia, as two sovereign and independent countries, should proceed. Only after fulfillment of these conditions, we can talk about normalization of relations,” stated Hoxhaj during a meeting with Bundestag deputies.
