Kosova Sot front page editorial criticizes the current Government of Kosovo for using the state budget for its electoral promises and decisions. Increase of salaries, creation of the one billion fund, creation of Kosovo’s Armed Forces, signing of the contract for the new Pristina –Skopje motorway and many other surprises to come, are the pre-election arsenal of Kosovo’s executive.

It appears that officials of the Government of Kosovo are trying to accomplish more in a few weeks than they did during their two mandates. It is clear that voters cannot be deceived any more, and this was proved during the last local elections, writes this daily. There should be some legal limitation for such ad hoc pre-election policies.

Financial adventures which aim election marketing are harmful for the state; therefore the future parliament should come up with a law, which would prevent such manipulation at all levels of governing.
