Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, met today with the representative of the UN Women for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia, Anne-Marie Esper Larsen. They discussed initiatives undertaken in Kosovo to advance gender equality, possibility of close cooperation and importance for Kosovo to be a participant in regional and international activities. The President valued the role that UN Women played in Kosovo in close cooperation with institutions of the country and civil society. On the other hand, Anne-Marie Esper Larsen, expressed readiness to continue with cooperation with institutions and civil society of Kosovo, in order to advance gender issues.
