Ulrike Lunacek, member of the European Parliament, will visit Kosovo today and on the occasion of Women’s Week will discuss on the role of Kosovar women in the process of European integration. This is the third year that the National Democratic Institute is organizing the Women’s Week in cooperation with the Group of Women MPs. Women’s Week is aimed at preparing women to be more active in civil society, in politics and to become leaders of the future. The goal is to bring together over 100 women from political parties, local and central governments, businesses, NGOs, media and the academia to discuss strengthening the position of women in Kosovar society and for Kosovar women to be more active in every area of life.
