Minority MPs decided not to take part in the Kosovo Assembly’s work unless the draft Law on General Elections remains in the assembly’s agenda. The Independent Liberal Party stated on Friday that MPs representing minorities in Kosovo agreed with this decision. “Today, we held a meeting at the Kosovo Assembly with regards to disputable draft Law on General Elections and our future participation in the work of the Assembly with all MPs who represent minority communities. We decided not to participate in the work of the Assembly until the disputable law is not withdrawn from the agenda,” said Head of the SLS caucus in the Assembly Saša Milosavljević, and added that, before the discussion over the draft law takes place, a clarification is needed on whether minorities will have reserved seats, besides the guaranteed seats.
