A survey carried out by one of the “influential” embassies in Kosovo has revealed that if elections were to take place in February, LDK and Vetevendosje would stand to win the most.

According to the poll, which included 1,000 respondents, LDK would win 28 percent of the votes while PDK would win 23. Vetevendosje would follow with 14 percent, AAK with 8, while 11 percent would be undecided voters. As for Behgjet Pacolli’s AKR, the survey found it would not reach the 3 percent election threshold and would remain outside the new legislature.

Respondents said that they would not vote for LDK because it provides alternatives, but because they believe it is the only party that could bring down the PDK from power.

Regarding who they think would be the next prime minister, the majority of respondents opted for Isa Mustafa, who is followed by Hashim Thaci, Albin Kurti, Ramush Haradinaj, and Behgjet Pacolli.

As to who are the most popular politicians, the poll showed that Pristina Mayor Shpend Ahmeti is the most popular with 61 percent, Gjakova Mayor Mimoza Kusari-Lila has 59 percent, Albin Kurti over 48, Fatmir Limaj 46, Isa Mustafa 41, Ramush Haradinaj 39, and Hashim Thaci is last with 31 percent.
