Serb MPs in the Kosovo parliament are seeking meeting with the president of Kosovo and representatives of the international community in order to discuss reserved seats.

Serb MPs have forwarded a letter to Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga, US Ambassador to Kosovo Tracey Jacobson and Special EU Representative to Kosovo Samuel Zbogar requesting  a meeting where they could discuss solution for providing the right to reserved seats to minorities.

“We want reserved seats to be provided to us, not only in the next mandate, but until the return of displaced is not achieved as planned by the Ahtisaari plan, which stipulates that reserved seats will be abolished only after 90 per cent of displaced are returned,” said SLS caucus whip Saša Milosavljević.

Serb MPs have announced that they will not participate in the work of the Kosovo parliament
