Office for Kosovo and Metohija strongly condemns last night’s wounding of three policemen of Serbian nationality in the village of Banja, in the municipality of Zubin Potok.
We request that those responsible immediately are found and punished, who treacherously, ambushed and fired the car in which were police officers, members of the Border police, said the statement.
Office for Kosovo and Metohija condemns any form of violence that threatens the safety of citizens in the province, particularly the attacks on law enforcement.
We demand from the international community, in accordance with its mandate, to ensure a peaceful and safe life for all citizens in the province.
