Kosovo President Atifete Jahjaga had a telephone conversation on Thursday with Jonathan Moore, director for Central and South Europe Affairs in the U.S. Department of State. Jahjaga and Moore discussed recent developments in Kosovo and the establishment of the Tribunal for Kosovo. The two leaders highlighted the importance of Kosovo’s confirmed partnership with the international community.
“President Jahjaga said Kosovo institutions have confirmed they are ready to cooperate with international partners. Jahjaga said the process will focus on individuals and is not a trial of joint efforts for liberation, adding that Kosovo has shown courage and leadership to confront the past,” a press release said.
