Assembly of Albania Speaker, Ilir Meta, has arrived last night in Pristina and will begin his official two-day visit today.
Meta will first meet Kosovo Assembly Speaker, Jakup Krasniqi, and then Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci.
Meta will pay respects to the resting place of the late president, Ibrahim Rugova, and to the Jasharaj memorial complex in Prekaz. He will then also visit the Jashari family.
In his official visit, Meta will also meet LDK leader Isa Mustafa, AAK leader Ramush Haradinaj, Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti, AKR leader Behgjet Pacoll and Pristina mayor Shpend Ahmeti.
Meta will also have a meeting with representatives of minority communities represented at the Assembly of Kosovo.
