Vehicle belonging to the North Mitrovica Administrative Office and which was handed over to new municipal leadership was set to fire last night.
It is about the second incident in last 24 hours in North Mitrovica, after unknown perpetrators fired shots on Sunday night at a vehicle owned by the spouse of the former mayor of Gracanica Bojan Stojanovic.
Head of the Administrative Office Adrijana Hodzic confirmed to Kontakt Plus Radio that vehicle ‘Hyundai’ which was recently handed over to municipality North Mitrovica was set to fire. She condemned this act of violence and stressed that such acts are leading to destabilization of the situation in Mitrovica and that they are unacceptable. Hodzic requested from authorities to carry out the investigation and bring those responsible to justice.
Vehicle was parked at St Drvarska in North Mitrovica in the vicinity of secondary Medical school. No casualties were reported.
