Citing unnamed sources, the news agency reports that EULEX officers raided this morning the house of Radovan Radic also known as Krelac in the village of Zupc, Zubin Potok, but failed to arrest him.

Sources said Radic is wanted by Interpol and is suspected of a series of criminal acts, including the murder of Kosovo police officer, Enver Zyberi, and the recent attack on the police station in Zubin Potok.

EULEX spokesman Blerim Krasniqi confirmed the information. He said the Mitrovica Task Force (TFM) assisted by EULEX police, carried out an operation in the village of Zupc, Zubin Potok, in relation to an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol for a 32 year-old individual, but the suspect was not found.

Zubin Potok mayor, Stevan Vulovic, said this was another attempt by EULEX to destabilize the situation in northern Kosovo. Vulovic called for an urgent meeting of the mayors of the four northern municipalities to discuss latest developments.
