Member of the Kosovo Assembly Sasa Milosavljevic said that all Serbian MPs decided not to attend future sessions of the Assembly.

Milosavljevic said that the reason for the decision is that MPs still didn’t receive an answer to the question ‘whether will be reserved seats in the next parliamentary mandate.’ “We have sent the letter to the Kosovo President ten days ago, at the same time when we sent it to the U.S. Embassy and EU Office in Kosovo. The President did not answer on our request for a meeting related to reserved seats,” said Milosavljevic.

He added that amendments to the articles of the Law on General Elections are already prepared. As stated, they are detrimental for the Serbian Community.  “We will boycott the work of the Assembly sessions as long we receive an answer to the question ‘whether we will have reserved seats’. We will be present at the second reading of the Law on general elections, in order to defend our amendments and to try to make them adopted,” said Milosavljevic.
