President of the Kosovo parliament Jakup Krasniçi stated that draft Law on Kosovo Armed Forces doesn’t have to be forwarded to the parliament for adoption if there is no agreement between majority in the parliament and minorities, since two-thirds majority, and two-thirds of minorities’ votes, are needed in order for the law to be adopted.
Krasniçi said that members of minority communities are not ready to vote for that law, without guarantees for reserved seats, at least for another mandate.
Ismet Beçiri, member of the Democratic League of Kosovo’s caucus said that they are not accepting conditions in order for the law on transformation of the KSF into Kosovo Armed Forces to be adopted.
