Vice President of Democratic Party (DS) Natasa Vuckovic said that voting in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the rejection of the right on decision -making to Russia, presented pro-Serbian and not anti-Russian stance.
“Resolution for which we voted emphasizes the importance of the principle of territorial integrity. I think that we in Serbia, due to the policy on non-recognizing Kosovo’s independence, have to defend the principle of territorial integrity in every situation,” said Natasa Vuckovic. She claims that it is not true that she and her colleague Vesna Marjanovic voted for the expulsion of the Russian delegation from the PACE.
Her party colleague, Dusan Spasojevic said that he resigned as president of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Democratic Party, because of a disagreement related to the voting in PACE.
