“Cooperation between the Ministry and local-self-governments is of essential importance in the process of returns,” said Dalibor Jevtić, Minister for Returns and Communities in the Kosovo government. At a meeting of the inter-municipal working group for returns and reintegration, Minister Jevtić highlighted the good cooperation with member municipalities of the working group. “We’ll have the opportunity to start the process of return and support the stabilization of communities in Suva Reka/Suharekë Municipality through various projects. One of those projects is constructing the road which will connect municipalities Štrpce/Shtërpcë and Suva Reka/Suharekë, thus it will improve communication between two municipalities and will be important for returnees as well,” said Jevtić. The agreement was reached at the meeting and that memorandum of understanding will be signed at the next meeting on inclusion of Suva Reka/Suharekë municipality in the inter-municipal working group.
