Political parties in Kosovo are not transparent enough when it comes to their financial matters, said Lorik Bajrami, from the organization ‘Çohu’ (Stand up) at yesterday’s conference dedicated to the culture of impunity for illegal acts in Kosovo. “It is known that the three biggest political parties – Democratic Party of Kosovo, Democratic League of Kosovo and Alliance for the Future of Kosovo – have managed funds which were never transparent enough. Public is still missing information on how the funds were spent,” said Bajrami. Betim Musliu from the Kosovo Judicial Institute at the same conference said that UNMIK, along with those who were in power, created the dysfunctional judicial system, which is still functioning as such in Kosovo.
