The problem with the distribution of the Belgrade press in Kosovo is resolved, says Aleksandar Vulin, noting that the Pristina authorities tried to collect duties, although newspapers are exempt from VAT.

“What happened was that they were trying to charge some customs. It really is not possible and our liaison officer in Pristina immediately reported the case, so it’s settled,” said Vulin to reporters on the eve of the inaugural session of the Assembly of Serbia.

Each day, he added, at the administrative line will be attempts to somehow establish a picture of some of statehood.

“They’ll try to find some kind of paper that will have some mark of what they call state of Kosovo and do things like that are not status-neutral as they are,” warned Vulin, adding that it is “our daily struggle.”

Vulin stresses that it would be good and to take account of the terminology, because, he said, newspapers, bread, electricity do not arrive from Serbia to Kosovo and Metohija but from central Serbia to Kosovo.
