The principal deputy leader at the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK,) who is also engaged in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, stated last night at Rubikon TV show that the three EU countries that have not recognized Kosovo’s independence, Greece, Romania and Slovakia, are willing to change their position by the end of this year or the beginning of the next one, if Kosovo establishes the Special Court. “The best option would have been for Kosovo to establish the Special Court through the Assembly. The other option, for establishment of an international court for Kosovo by UN, could bring have consequences for the country. We are facing a necessity. We are rejecting it in vain, this will happen in Kosovo,” said Shala. “We are facing an act which does not recognize alternatives,” he added.

Speaking about the establishment of the Special Court, he said that there is no reason to fear Williamson’s investigations for the crimes of 1999-2000.
