“Serbs, including Serbian members of the Kosovo parliament, evaluated as unacceptable the deprivation of voting rights for the displaced persons and lack of reserved seats for minority communities. If their demands will not be met, my position is that Serbs should not participate in the general elections in Kosovo,” said Minister without portfolio in charge of Kosovo and Metohija, Aleksandar Vulin.

He said that it is sad that Special Tribunal for crimes committed in Kosovo and Metohija was established after 15 years and that no one felt the need at least to count Serbian victims. “With the establishment of the Tribunal, the truth will be more difficult to hide. Belgrade will submit documents and the families of killed and missing persons will be able to tell their stories, before the whole world,” said Vulin.

According to him, EULEX and KFOR are our best friends, but EULEX constantly revolts Serbs. “Their warning that the EU mission would become unwanted in the north is another yellow card. Serbs are asking only one, elementary thing- to be informed about implementation of the actions,” said Vulin.

“What is the purpose of KPS existence in the north, if they are not consulted, at all? We spent a lot of time to introduce the members of the Serbian police in the KPS. How they can function if actions are done without their knowledge? The international community needs to talk with legitimate representatives of Serbs from Kosovo and it would be good to try to listen them,” said Vulin.
