Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and President of the Independent Liberal Party (SLS) Slobodan Petrovic yesterday conferred in Hague with the OSCE High Commissioner for National Minorities Astrid Thors.
Commissioner Thors reaffirmed the OSCE’s support to the process of integration of minorities in Kosovo and protection of their rights and freedoms.
Minister Petrovic has praised the efforts of mayors in four municipalities in northern Kosovo aimed at successful creation of municipal administrations which will be in service to all citizens of Kosovo.
SLS carried in a press release that new election draft law was one of the topics at the meeting, and that Petrovic stressed the importance of continuation of reserved seats, for which he expects the support of majority parties in the parliament.
