Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister, Slobodan Petrovic said that it is sad that someone threatens to the Decani Monastery. He stated that authorities must bring to the justice responsible persons and punish them. Petrovic told that such threats send a bad image of Kosovo.
“I was out of Kosovo last days and I followed what was happening in relation to the Visoki Decani monastery. Besides explicit condemnation, we require from the authorities to find the perpetrators, as soon as possible,” said Petrovic, who is also the leader of the Independent Liberal party (SLS).
Petrovic said that he spoke with the Minister for Spatial Planning, Dardan Gashi about the problem of the church of Christ the Savior in Pristina. He stated that he is convinced that a solution that will not be to the detriment of either party will be found.
