Director of the Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Djuric visited on Wednesday the leader of Civic Initiative SDP Oliver Ivanovic, who is in custody in Mitrovica.
Indictment against Ivanovic has not been raised, who is in custody from January 27th, on suspicion of having participated in crimes against Albanians in 1999 and 2000. His family expects him to be released from custody on the eve of St. Vitus day.
– I am grateful to the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Mr. Marko Djuric, the boundless support given to Oliver, and all of us who are part of his family. The support received, preserves Oliver’s strength to continue to struggle and to defeat the injustice done to him. I hope Oliver will be at home on June 27th, and he should have been released a long time ago because he is innocent – says wife of Oliver Ivanovic, Milena.
