Mayor of Gracanica, Branimir Stojanovic and Director of the Office of the Government of Kosovo for Communities Srdjan Popovic signed a memorandum on the construction of five houses for socially vulnerable families and the reconstruction of the church of St. Dimitrije in Sušica.
Director of the Office Srdjan Popovic said that the signing of a memorandum is continuation of successful cooperation with the municipality of Gracanica.
“This time we have provided funds for the reconstruction of the church of St. Dimitrije in Sušica and for the construction of five houses in the municipality of Gracanica. This collaboration with the municipality will continue. We already have some plans for the places that gravitate around Gracanica,” said Popovic.
Mayor of Gracanica Branimir Stojanovic, thanked Srdjan Popovic on, as he said, “his determination to use his influence and resources that are available to improve the quality of life of residents of the municipality, regardless of ethnicity.”
“All projects funded by the Office he leads absolutely correspond to the most essential needs of the people who live here and I thank him on that commitment. I am convinced that in the coming period we will do much in a joint effort and improve significantly life for all of us who live here,” said Stojanovic.
The statement announced the implementation of projects aimed at solving municipal problems and at improving the quality of a number of sports facilities in order to create the preconditions for the development of sport and those who are engage in sport.
