KOSOVSKA MITROVICA – A several concrete blocks with a sign saying KLA (Kosovo Liberation Army) Square have been placed in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, along the road leading to the multiethnic village of Suvi Do.

According to a Tanjug correspondent from the spot, the sign saying KLA Square (Sheshi UCK in Albanian) and an Albanian flag were placed at an intersection leading to Suvi Do on Thursday evening.

Another similar incident preceded this, as a large concrete block with a sign bearing the name of one of the KLA founders, Adem Jasari, was placed in another part of northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Wednesday night. The block also had a pole flying an Albanian flag.

This is presumably the ethnic Albanians’ reaction to the plans for the King Lazar Square to be located near the main bridge in Kosovska MItrovica.
