LDK-AAK-Nisma meets with Srpska List MP’s

Opposition bloc leaders Haradinaj, Mustafa and Limaj before the Constitutive session of the assembly meet with the MP’s of Srpska List.

After the meeting Mustafa stated that he will get the support of the Serbian MP’s will support him on the assembly speakers post.

He is convinced that the opposition bloc has the largest parliamentary group and the Assembly constitutive session will go well, if not I would rather stand up, than fight for the seats in the assembly he said.

A positive attitude was noticed amongst minority deputies, who would support opposition parties for a new government. Minority MP’s are not interested to have another round of elections.

“I can guarantee you all on the way I will behave, when it was time to show bravery, I was there, and I’m not as one of today’s cowards who try to show their bravery when it’s not needed.” said Haradinaj.

Minority deputies refused to comment in the media about today’s meeting

The AAK chairman Ramush Haradinaj met the AAK steering committee to discuss the Assembly constitutive session and establishment of the new government from whom he got full support as a nominee for Prime Minister Post.

Vetëvëndosje General Secretary, Dardan Molliqaj told KTV that during the talks with the opposition parties it was Ramush Haradinaj who proposed Vetëvëndosje to lead the Dialogue. According to Molliqaj it is still unknown why afterwards this point was opposed. He stated that, Vetevendosje only requested the Dialogue to be reformatted. Meanwhile, Vetëvëndosje has not reached a definitive agreement with the opposition coalition, reiterated that without reaching a final agreement they will not vote for either the nominee for assembly speaker Isa Mustafa, nor Ramush Haradinaj as Prime Minister, KTV reports.

All media reports that the PDK Presidency held a meeting today and decided to not withdraw in the Assembly constitutive session towards the efforts of opposition bloc to get the right to propose the Assembly speaker and Prime Minister.

The PDK leader, Hashim Thaçi, said that new institutions of Kosovo will be established based on 8 June election results. The PDK won majority of votes and during Thursday inaugural Assembly session the PDK will nominate the candidate for Speaker, and hopes that they will manage to get votes to elect the Speaker. The Prime Minister designate, Thaçi said that the PDK has the right to nominate the Government based on applicable laws of Kosovo.

Grabovci stated that PDK is the winner of these elections; they will propose the candidate for Assembly speaker as well as the Prime Minister.

Rakic tells Gashi: Not to threaten with destruction of parks

Mitrovica/Mitrovicë north mayor Goran Rakic asked from the Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning (MESP) Dardan Gashi that he should not test the good will and the hand of reconciliation of the citizens from north. Problems should be resolved peacefully and civilized was and not threatening to destroy with bulldozers the ‘Peace Park’ of north part of Iber River.

No to state that he is in favour of an agreement while he threats us with bulldozers those time are over RTK2 reports.

Excavation in the suspected mass grave in Rezallë village continue (most monitored broadcasters RTK & TV21)

Forensic experts of the Forensic Medicine Department have today found human skeletal remains during the excavation at an alleged location of a mass grave in Rezalle of Skënderaj/ Srbica town that had begun yesterday. The human skeletal remains are believed to belong to the last conflict in Kosova.

Head of Kosovo governmental committee for the missing Prenk Gjetaj stated that the forensic department is excavating to evaluate if they can find body remains in the area. The remains were found exactly in the location where the bodies of the civilian victims from Rezalle and surrounding villages were buried after the executing on 5 April, 1999 by Serbian police and military forces. The Serbian forces attempting to hide the traces of the crime, after three weeks, unburied the bodies of the victims and sent them to an unknown location.

Two identified victims whose remains were found in Rudnica mass grave in Serbia have proved to be from Rezalla.

Excavation will continue tomorrow until we define that there are no body remains in this alleged mass grave.

DNA tests of Rudnica mass grave in Serbia have been sent to Bosnia and Hercegovina and soon we expect to receive the results stated Gjetaj.

Minister Jevtic and Gracanica/ Graçanicë mayor signed MOU to construct houses (most monitored broadcasters RTK2 & TV21)

Minister of Community and Return Dalibor Jevtic on Wednesday signed the MOU with the Mayor of Gracnica/ Graçanicë Stojanovic for construction five houses for families in need.

Construction of these houses marks the good cooperation with Gracanica/Graçanicë municipality and we will continue to support addressing needs of its citizens.
