The implementation Monitoring Council held the 13th meeting

Sources told TV 21 that in the meeting it was discussed about the Serb Orthodox Church in the court yard of national Library.

The Implementation Monitoring Council held the 13-th meeting, which was led by Minister Dardan Gashi and attended by EUSR Samuel Zbogar, Culture, Youth, and Sports Minister Memli Krasniqi, OSCE Head of Mission, Ambassador Jean-Claude Schlumberger, and Orthodox Church Bishop Teodosije were discussed important issues of cultural heritage, particularly Special Protected Zones.

EUSR Zbogar congratulated the Council for the successful work done so far given that it has resolved many issues that were not dealt with for many years.

Opposition bloc reaches no agreement with Vetëvëndosje

The annex document that Vetëvëndosje sent on Monday to the AAK headquarters, where a written agreement was expected to be reached, has returned the negotiations over the new government to the starting point, KTV reports.

The AAK chairman Ramush Haradinaj said that experts worked on harmonization of the principles of the annex to an agreement between LDK-AAK-Nisma and Vetëvëndosje but not all the points were agreed upon. However, he still believes that an agreement with Vetëvëndosje can be reached.

Haradinaj also said that as Prime Minister he will not allow Kosovo to be isolated, therefore the situation must be analysed properly.

Haradinaj also stated that they had a meeting with the representatives of non-Serb parliamentary parties. He explained that it was mainly a consultation about the practices that should be followed in the next Assembly session.

Meanwhile, sources told KTV that an agreement between LDK-AAK-Nisma and Vetëvëndosje is almost impossible. According to the same source, American and German diplomats made it clear to Haradinaj and Mustafa that the new Government of Kosovo must not include Vetëvëndosje.

CEC to destroy election material

CEC has decided to destroy most of the election material used in the early parliamentary elections held on 8 June 2014. The material that is subject to investigations conducted by the Prosecution will not be destroyed.

CEC CEO secretary Enis Halimi stated that to implement this decision we will inform Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) and Prosecutors office that which materials will be on their interest to be stored as evidence.

Vetëvëndosje representative Adnan Rrustemi requested to define the correct number of voters that voted with assistance, since the number of these voters is not known.

In the meeting the CEC also discussed and approved the reviewed budget for 2014. It also decided to allocate the financial means of the Fund for support of political parties for the third quarter period of 2014

Meeting on new project for Iber River Bridge

Both banks of Iber river will have a different view, with this aim today Minister of environment and spatial planning hosted a meeting with two municipalities represented by Municipal Directors of Urbanism of south and north Mitrovica, Sami Zeka and Branislav Klajic to discuss spatial planning on the both banks of Iber river.

The minister of environment and spatial planning Dardan Gashi underlined that the meeting intends to find a solution for these two municipalities, following the situation created with placement of squares built from both parties. In order to avoid potential conflicts we agreed to discuss this issue at central and local level and to reach an agreement on how Mitrovicë/Mitrovicatown should look like, he said.

Gashi said that no construction that is not in compliance with urban planning will be allowed.

In the coming days the two mayors of Mitrovica north Rakic and Mitrovicë south Bahtiri are expected to sign an agreement on cooperation at the local and central level,” the press release says.

The Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri said that an EU-initiated plan for removal of barricades in the north that will be discussed at Pristina-Belgrade meeting on 22 July in Brussels. She also stated that Kosovo and Serbia agreed to reach a moratorium for the constructions started on the Iber Bridge. Kosovo has its own urban planning. There can be no constructions without permit from the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning. This applies to all municipalities.

Tahiri also said that Kosovo delegation made it clear to Brussels that they want to give the Dialogue a chance but if Serbia sabotages the plan, the Government of Kosovo will have to act based on laws of Kosovo.

Mass grave alleged in Skënderaj/ Srbica village Rezallë

At the order of the Special Prosecution Office of Kosovo (SPRK), experts of Forensics Medicine Department started on Tuesday excavation in a location in the village of Rezalle, Skënderaj/Srbica, suspected of containing body remains of victims killed in 1999. The chief prosecutor of the SPRK Sevdie Morina visited the site. Exhumation will continue in coming day.

Two identified victims whose remains were found in Rudnica mass grave in Serbia have proved to be from Rezalla of Skenderaj/Srbica.

Director of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Arsim Gerxhaliu said in an interview with Kosovapress that around 50 body remains have been exhumed at the mass grave of Rudnica in Raska and are sent for DNA test.

According to Gerxhaliu, Serbia stopped excavation work at a site in Rudnica due to financial reasons, adding that Kosovo is ready to offer help in order to continue excavations as soon as possible. He said that Kosovo side is asking continuation of the excavations hoping that this issue will be solved during a joint meeting between working groups of Kosovo and Serbia.
