Williamson not to present any report

(Most monitored broadcasters, KTV)

Leader of the Special Investigative Task Force (SITF) Clint Williamson will not present any report to Kosovars about his work during Monday’s visit to Prishtinë/Pristina. His investigations might be turned down, and in case these investigations are finalized in an indictment, it will certainly be addressed to the court, in this case to the Special Court that is to be established, and not to offices of politicians.

Government officials say that this a routine visit, while Williamson’s Office in Brussels does not want to comment anything; however, it considers recent media reports as gossip and libel.

Police failed to arrest Vulovic and Ristic

Last week’s action of Kosovo Police (KP) to arrest mayor of Zubin Potok Stevan Vulovic and former mayor of this municipality Slavisa Ristic failed, as they were not found at their homes.

It is suspected that Vulovic and Ristic were informed by Serbian officials that they were to be arrested; therefore, they escaped to Belgrade.

The arrest order was issued by EULEX prosecutor, under suspicion that Vulovic organized Slobodan Sovrlic’s escape from Zubin Potok police station in March this year, while Ristic is suspected of several criminal offences committed during his mandate as Zubin Potok mayor, including road barricades.

Serbs from the north will block Mitrovicë/Mitrovica-Ribaric highway in Zubin Potok on Monday at 11:00 to protest against these arrests.

Janjic: Srpska played a dangerous game

(Klan Kosova, TV21)

Serb opinion continues to be surprised with Srpska List’a action at the Kosovo Assembly’s constitutive session held on 17 July, 2014.

Serbian analyst Dusan Janjic considers that Serbs did a dangerous undertaking, in particular when they voted in favour of Glauk Konjufca as Deputy Assembly Speaker. Janjic said that Konjufca does not have good stance against Serbs.

“Maybe someone had said that the greater the crisis among Albanians, the better it is for Serbs and Serbia. I disagree with this. Serbs needed to behave like a minority, wait, and then take a decision. According to laws, Kosovo Government cannot be formed without them,” Janjic said.

According to him, Serbs have played a game that is dangerous for them.

“I would like to see Berlin and Washington stand behind this action of Belgrade,” Janjic said.

Road barricades and squares to be discussed in Brussels

(RTK1)

The issue of road barricades over Ibër River Bridge and recently constructed squares by the Serbs and Albanians will be a topic of discussion of the following meeting in Brussels, scheduled for 22 July 2014. Both sides will present their ideas for solution of this issue.

However, Kosovo political analysts say that Belgrade is continuing with its obstructions against Kosovo. According to them, Serbs are using the institutional vacuum to present such project of squares.
