Miscevic: Kosovo the key for progress toward the EU (Blic)

The head of the negotiation team for accession of the Republic of Serbia to the EU Tanja Miscevic stated that without settling issues such as normalization of relations with Pristina, there won’t be progress in negotiations either.

Without the shift in the negotiation chapter 35, were issues of Kosovo and Metohija are included, there won’t be progress in the entire negotiation process of Serbia’s accession in the EU, stated yesterday Miscevic.

At the session of the parliament’s Committee for Kosovo and Metohija Miscevic said that legally binding agreement on normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina is one of the most important elements of the negotiations’ process for the EU accession.

At the same session Director of the Serbian Government’s Office for Kosovo and Metohija Marko Đurić assessed that Pristina is not respecting all provisions of the Brussels agreement, and quoted the example of judiciary where Pristina didn’t do anything with regard to implementation of the agreement on judiciary
