LDK-AAK-Nisma bloc calls on Thaçi to give up his corruptive practice

(All monitored broadcasters, RTK1&KTV)

The post-elections bloc (LDK-AAK-Nisma) is recognizing the Acting Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi only as an MP. The person nominated by the bloc as the candidate for Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, said that the MP Hashim Thaçi does not have the right to take big decisions in the government.

Concerned about the recent developments and decisions, the bloc called upon the Acting PM Hashim Thaçi to give up his corruptive practices that are also continuing during these days.

LDK leader said that they discussed about the institutional vacuum, while Nisma për Kosovën (NK) leader Fatmir Limaj called upon the state administration to perform its legal and constitutional obligations and serve the citizens.

The three leaders also spoke about the hearing session and Constitutional Court’s decision. They deny that the bloc prolonged the process, calling on the Constitutional Court to hold the hearing session.

PDK MP and senior official Adem Grabovci responded to LDK-AAK-Nisma bloc. Talking to Politiko.net portal, Grabovci said that LDK-AAK and Nisma have entered a blind alley and they are asking for the impossible.

He said that PDK has the number for establishing the Government. Furthermore, he said that PDK does not have only 61, but rather 70 votes, RTK1 reported.

Stojanovic: New elections would only be a waste of time

(RTK2)

New elections will not bring anything new. They would only be a waste of time, the first candidate in Srpska List Branimir Stojanovic stated.

“It is important that these political factors, who gained people’s trust as they did so in last elections, agree about the Assembly’s composition and how the future Government will look like,” Stojanovic said.

Former executive director of the Independent Liberal Serb Party (SLS) Dalibor Jevtic also believes that there will not be any new elections. The new Kosovo government will be established in September, Jevtic said.

Stojanovic warned that interpersonal accusations between current and former SLS officers cannot jeopardize the clear policy of Srpska List at the Assembly of Kosovo.

Family members: Geci is not in Kosovo

(All monitored broadcasters, KTV)

Gani Geci, the main suspect for killing of Ruzhdi Shaqiri in Skenderaj/Srbica on Monday night is probably not in Kosovo. According to Gani Geci’s brother, he is perhaps in Switzerland or Germany.

According to his family members, he has valid visa in his passport, but they are not aware of his whereabouts. According to Geci’s brother, the reason for his non surrender is that there is no security in Kosovo prisons.

On the other hand, family members of the victim were not ready to talk about the case, while Police is continuing the search for the suspect.

EULEX said that this issue is currently under the competencies of Kosovo Police.

“At present this case is being addressed by Kosovo Police and questions related to this matter should be addressed to them,” EULEX Spokesperson Miguel Carvalho de Faria told KTV.

KLA War Veterans Organisations condemned this case and asked Kosovo law enforcement agencies to shed light on this incident and to bring the perpetrator before justice.

Investigation against Zivanovic for crimes in Kosovo ordered

(Klan Kosova, KTV)

Serbia’s War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic ordered an investigation against General Dragan Zivanovic, former commander of the 125th motorized brigade, on suspicion that he is responsible for the crimes committed against the civilian Albanian population in four villages – Qyshk, Pavlan, Lybeniq and Zahaq, between April 1 and May 15, 1999.

Zivanovic is suspected that although he knew that attacks will be carried out against the residents of the villages, he did not take necessary any measures and prevent the killing of at least 118 Albanian civilians and the inflicting of grievous bodily harm to 13 civilians, destruction of 40 houses, plundering, forceful dislocation, seizure and destruction of the victims’ personal documents.

The judgment confirmed the prosecution’s allegations that the mass killings were conducted in the presence of women and children, the youngest victim being just 19, and the oldest 87 years old. Under the judgment, in the killings, rapes, destruction of property and other crimes, the convicts demonstrated extreme ruthlessness, cruelty and removed the evidence by burning the bodies of the civilian victims in order to ensure that the crimes are not discovered, and the victims not identified.
