A tractor has been stolen from the three-member Spasic family of Serb returnees in the Istok municipality in western Kosmet, and that is another in the string of attacks on the Serb property in the Province.
Minister of Return in the Kosovo Government Dalibor Jevtic has stated that the theft from a returnee family is not just the infringement on the property, abut also a threat to their existence. Such ill deeds are sending a bad message to the returnees that Kosmet is not a safe place for them, Jevtic stressed. He has appealed on everybody to exert more effort in making the returnees safe. Last weekend, the unknown perpetrators have also damaged the car and stoned the house of a Serb returnee in Gnjilan.
