Unfounded accusations and threats about the arrest of Zubin Potok Mayor, Stevan Vulović, seriously endanger the functioning of the municipality and the implementation of the Brussels agreement, was stated from Zubin Potok Municipality.

In a statement sent to the media was pointed out that the time frame for scheduling meetings and making important decisions for the functioning of the Municipality is about to expire, and all of that is impossible to do without the presence and consultations with the mayor Stevan Vulovic.  Such EULEX procedures additionally raise fear, both in the municipality of Zubin Potok, and the entire territory of Kosovo and Metohija. Therefore, we request from the international community and all relevant representatives in Kosovo to stop with the intimidation and threats and to enable Stevan Vulović smooth performance of functions, as Zubin Potok mayor,” the statement said.

Management of the Municipality is willing to cooperate and work for the benefit of its citizens, and if there is a failure in the implementation of the Brussels agreement, all the blame will be borne by EULEX and the international community, was said in a statement.
