The United Kingdom Ambassador in Kosovo, Ian Cliff, reiterated that international community should not and will not interfere in establishment of new institutions in Kosovo.

Talking about the political deadlock, Cliff said that in Kosovo, same as in any other country of Europe, it is difficult to create governments immediately after elections.

Cliff expressed his belief that for the sake of country’s economy, the new government will be established soon.

UK Ambassador Cliff made these statements in Junik, during a visit he made to this municipality.

Srpska List MP Slobodan Petrovic said that he and his nine colleagues of the caucus with the same name believe that new elections in Kosovo are unnecessary. However, according to him, if a solution at the Assembly of Kosovo is not found soon, than new elections are the only alternative out of the current political deadlock.

Petrovic, chairperson of the Independent Liberal Serb Party (SLS), told Belgrade media that Serb MPs are ready to offer their support for the Assembly Speaker only to the caucus which has the parliamentary majority.

In an interview with RTK2, Head of the Forum for Ethnic RelationsDusan Janjic said in two different occasions the international community has demonstrated that it will not interfere in establishment of Kosovo institutions.
