Representatives of the coalition consisting of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Initiative for Kosovo (NISMA) and the Vetevendosje Movement are hinting at the possible replacement of Flora Brovina as chairperson of the Kosovo Assembly. Coalition officials argue that Brovina, a member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), is supporting her party in the Assembly. AAK MP Donika Kadaj-Bujupi said a solution for the blockade will be found. “This process will not go on forever, because we will organize in accordance with the regulation of the Assembly. If the chairperson continues to resist, she will be replaced in line with the regulation of the Assembly and laws that are in force,” Kadaj-Bujupi told Radio Kosova. Meanwhile, Vetevendosje representative Dardan Molliqaj does not rule out calling an extraordinary assembly session. “If Brovina does not call the session, we will call an extraordinary session,” Molliqaj said.
