The Association of Families of Kidnapped and Killed in Kosovo and Metohija announced on Thursday opening of the so called “Serbian Wailing Wall” on Sunday 28 September in the vicinity of the Serbian Government’s seat in Belgrade. The “Serbian Wailing Wall” will be made of pictures of murdered and missing persons in Kosovo. The gathering is set to start at 12:44 what would symbolically present the United Nations Security Council’s Resolution 1244 on Kosovo.

When asked why was the gathering announced for the day when Pride Parade should take place in Belgrade, a representative of the Association Snezana Zdravkovic said to Beta agency that they will in no way pose any obstruction to any other meeting.

“We are simply trying to say that right to life and right to know whereabouts of our missing ones is the basic human right. If we don’t have that, what other human rights could be discussed at all,” Zdravkovic said.

The Association also added that there is no justice for Serbian victims for 16 years now, and that suspects haven’t been brought to justice yet.
