President of the Association of Djakovica/Gjakova citizens, Đokica Stanojevic, asked whether the international community will be able to provide the displaced Serbs the right to return and live in Djakovica/Gjakova. He noted that citizens were seized all rights and that they were forbidden to visit their houses, cemeteries and shrines.

Stanojevic, in response to the announcement of the War Crimes prosecution in Serbia (which together with the  EULEX prosecutor is verifying information on the existence of mass graves of Serbian victims in village Piskota, Djakovica/Gjakova municipality) asked whether the representatives of international institutions in Pristina are ready to find and punish the criminals responsible for mass graves.

“We ask the international institutions in Pristina will they this time find the culprits and bring criminals before the Court of Justice,” said Stanojevic.
