After the meeting with the chairperson of the Assembly’s constitutive session, Flora Brovina, member of the leadership of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that she represented the 62 deputies who signed the request for the session to be held on Thursday and expressed their position regarding this session.
Osmani said that there was a proposal at the meeting for an agreement among the political leaders to overcome the political stalemate, however she expressed the position of the 62 deputies that there is no need for an agreement in closed offices, and that discussions for a solution should be held at the Assembly.
She added that they are considering the possibility of requesting from the Constitutional Court to clarify the existing decision, respectively point 127, on actions after PDK’s failing to elect the Assembly chairperson.
Osmani said that they will hold the tomorrow’s session and they will act based on the Constitution and the laws of Kosovo.
She expressed faith that PDK and the chairperson, Flora Brovina, would participate at tomorrow’s session called by 62 deputies that signed the request.
