President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, will not call another meeting with political leaders just as the Assembly chairperson, Flora Brovina, will not call a session of the Assembly for as long as heads of parliamentary parties don’t sit together in an effort to find a solution to the institutional crisis.

“The reported meeting will take place when leaders of parliamentary political parties show readiness to sit down and find a solution to the institutional crisis which is rocking the country’s sustainability and is plunging it into a deeper financial and budgetary crisis with serious consequences for the citizens”, President Jahjaga’s advisor, Arber Vllahiu, is quoted in Express.

At the same time, the oldest member of the Assembly, Flora Brovina, will not call the continuation of constitutive session without an agreement being reached between political parties, a source within the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) told Gazeta Blic. “There is no sense in Flora Brovina calling a session if there is no agreement. We saw that without an agreement, the Assembly cannot be constituted so there is no logic in calling it again”. The source added.
