Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, Aleksandar Vulin said at the opening of the new Centre for Social Work in North Mitrovica that “social benefits will not be reduced and that Serbia will continue to care for those who are in most difficult position in the country.”
Provisional municipal authorities of Serbia in this city, declared Vulin as an honorary citizen of Mitrovica. Vulin during visit to northern Kosovo was accompanied by Goran Rakic, Mayor of North Mitrovica, who is in the system of local self-government of the self-proclaimed state of Kosovo.
Yesterday in North Mitrovica bullet was fired from a firearm at the caffe “Dolce Vita”. There were no injuries. Kosovo police estimated that it was a “stray bullet” because at the time of the incident from South Mitrovica gunfire was heard.
